エストレリータ・インターナショナル・スクール・オブ・ミュージックについて

エストレリータ、とはスペイン語で「小さな可愛らしいお星さま」という意味があります。子供たちの奏でる音は、今は小さな輝きかもしれないけれど、将来大きな光となって、世界を音楽で明るく照らしてもらえたらいいな、と願って2017年に命名しました。

私たちは2012年に内田音楽事務所として開業し、主にインターナショナルスクールに通う生徒たちにレッスンを行ってきました。諸外国の音楽教材を研究して、より魅力的なレッスンが出来るように工夫しています。また、主なイベントとして、年に2回のイギリスのABRSMグレードへの挑戦、国際色溢れる発表会を開催しています。このようなイベントを通して、これまでにたくさんの生徒さんがより音楽を楽しみ、先生と共に演奏技術を身につけ、独創的な「音楽家」へと成長しています。

近年はヴァイオリン、クラリネット、ジャズピアノ、声楽の先生を迎え、多様な選択肢を提供できるようになりました。年々国際化が進む東京で、日本語以外でレッスンを受けられる機会をもっと提供したいと考え、バイリンガル、トリリンガルの講師を採用しています。現在（2017年12月）、日本語、英語、スペイン語、フランス語、イタリア語、ドイツ語でレッスンを受けることが可能です。

　「小さな星」が、大きな輝きを放つときを心待ちに、今日も先生たちは楽しくレッスンに励んでいます！

About Estrellita International School of Music

Estrellita means “tiny lovely star” in Spanish. Students’ music is only a tiny shine at the moment; however we are hoping they will make the world brighter with music in the future. We named our school name in 2017 with the wish. 

We started offering music lessons in 2012, as Uchida Music Office, mainly for international students in Tokyo. We’ve been trying to apply many kinds of music methods from the UK and the US etc. to offer more attractive lessons. ABRSM music exam (twice a year) and Students’ Concert (in spring) are the main annual events. Through those events, they have loved music more, have learnt how to play instruments with teachers, and they have gradually grown as ingenious musicians.

Recently violin, clarinet, jazz piano, and vocal teachers have joined us. Thanks to them, students are able to have more choices of instruments and teachers. Tokyo has been an international city, and still attracting more and more foreigners. We would like to offer more chance to learn music in different languages. Our teachers speak more than one language. Students can take lessons in Japanese, English, Spanish, French, Italian and German (2017 December). 

Teachers enjoy teaching every day, looking forward to seeing when our “Estrellitas” shine greatly in the future!
